tape vs label maker

We recently put the Brother P-Touch PTD220 to the test against an eco-friendly label maker, focusing on its performance with TZe label tapes up to ~1/2 inch white. As a home office staple, the PTD220 impressed us with its intuitive design and seamless integration with our daily tasks. The TZe tapes, while marketed as sustainable, delivered unexpected durability-adhering firmly to surfaces like glass, wood, and plastic without peeling despite our rigorous use. However, the eco-friendly contender lagged slightly in adhesive strength, leaving some labels less secure over time. For those prioritizing eco-conscious materials, the trade-off might be worth considering. Still, the Brother P-Touch's reliability and user-friendly interface make it a strong contender for everyday home use. Ultimately, the PTD220 proved itself as a versatile, efficient tool, though its environmental footprint remains a point of reflection.
